SIMPLE SCIENCE THAT'S NOT SO SIMPLE

 

Developing a healthy lifestyle takes more than hard work. It takes knowledge. Our nutrition experts have the knowledge and experience to help you achieve your goals.

 

Our Nutrition clients receive an in-depth consultation with our Expert and Certified Fitness Nutritionists who will help them develop a program based on their specific needs and their lifestyle.

 

The program consists of several important steps:

 

 1: Analyzing your personal information from the intake form. No two individuals receive the exact same program. Factors such as your age, height, weight, gender, goals, allergies and sensitivities, likes and dislikes, are considered when creating your nutritional program.

 

 2: Calculating unique caloric needs. Basal Metabolic Rate will be calculated, and added to your unique level of activity, and on a case by case basis, adjusted for your desired goal (weight loss, health condition, more energy, etc.).

 

 3: Analyzing macronutrient needs. The percent of carbohydrate, proteins, and fats, as well as their sources, can have a profound effect on weight loss, and addressing a specific health condition. Your unique needs will be the sole factor in determining such percentages. A menu pattern based on this information, and the calculation of step 1, will completely remove all the guess work out of consuming the proper amount of calories. A daily meal pattern will be provided to avoid the tedious task of counting calories.

 

 4: Exercise. We recoomend that an exercise program is part of your health plan to to help you reach your goals. We have programs that offer both exercise programming and nutrition followups.

 

 5: Follow up. Each comprehensive nutritional program offers weeks of nutritional follow up, to track your progress, answer your questions, and address any problems you may encounter.
